Full Job Description

Carnival UK is in search of a Marketing Planning Manager, who will define and execute best in class marketing planning principles, processes and governance that deliver the P&O Cruises strategic priorities. This role is the 'heartbeat' of the sales, digital, marketing & brand (SDMB) department, integral to making positive change happen for long term success.

Your accountabilities will include:

  • Establish and deliver an overarching approach to planning for P&O Cruises marketing.

  • Manage the quarterly marketing planning process, working closely with the other planning functions across the business.

  • Represent the SDMB teams at various forums, guiding decisions based on business objectives, priorities and capacity.

  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline planning processes and governance.

  • Create and manage a suite of key planning tools which add value.


  • Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK07, offered as a full-time position, on a permanent basis, we offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

  • Experience of integrated marketing strategy, marketing planning and marketing practices

  • Solid experience working effectively across multiple departments, ideally within a matrix style organisation

  • Extensive experience of driving change by influencing stakeholders of all levels.

  • Strong Project Management experience with the ability to ruthlessly prioritise tasks

  • First-class organisational skills with impeccable attention to detail

  • Numerical data interpretation and analysis skills
