Full Job Description

You will provide strategic guidance from the candidate phase and business development through to peri-launch and LCM strategic events and evolution. You will own and drive strategic conversations implying regular interactions with the Access Insight team, Asset team, Payer Portfolio team, and Payer Synthesis team, delivering strategic pricing assumptions and forecast hypotheses for the rare portfolio. With deep knowledge and high capabilities, the role is accountable to pricing insights, net & gross assumptions, price corridor and long-range pricing forecast, as well as contributing to economic - cost effectiveness demonstration. Who you'll work with You will report to the Head of Global payer insights and manage the Rare Strategic Pricing Manager, overseeing their analysis and execution and ensuring both quality and timeliness of input generation and individual professional development. Operating under an agile model, the team is not tied to therapeutic areas or assets but instead built from the perspective of payer archetypes. What you'll do

  • Actively work within Payers, Policy & RWE Team teams by contributing to the Access Insight findings ensuring reliability and consistency of pricing markets insights.
  • Support synthesis of therapeutic pricing information into actionable insights and recommendations for Asset Team.
  • Reliably inform Patient Solutions & Due diligence with rare product pricing assumption to ensure business deal hypothesis and global long-range forecast assumptions.
  • Coach and support Payer Synthesis team with definition & development of pricing strategy within the economic value strategy for rare assets in scope.
  • Work in close collaboration with "Patient Impact - Pricing policy" to share best practice and pressure test pricing strategies and implications
  • Oversee technological advances and transformation that may improve our rare strategic pricing operational excellence and impact.
  • Develop and establish a new robust and compliant methods of pricing analytics and pricing insights collection framework and analysis generation.
  • Anticipate and interpret external trends and novel emerging patterns in pricing to identify opportunities and threats to 'rare' assets

    Experience in Global Pricing for rare or ultra rare assets, covering a variety of countries, Pharma and Biotech industries, and development phase.
  • Able to translate business needs into operating tools.
  • Previous and extended experiences responsibility of Pricing strategy development (launch strategy, early potential assessment, pricing guidance, IRP, launch sequencing / indication strategy
  • Management experience
