As ADVANZ PHARMA continues to strengthen its position as the partner of choice for specialty, hospital, and rare disease medicines, we have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Program Manager to join the Transformation Office., As Strategic Programme Manager you will be responsible for leading main launches or acquisitions post signature until launched/ integrated by leading cross functional and international Teams. This role is highly strategic for the growth of ADVANZ Pharma and will have a lot of visibility to Senior Management. What You'll Do:

  • Overall responsible for the introduction of defined products/ product portfolios in line with agreed business strategies and objectives.
  • Lead cross functional teams to ensure a best in class on time delivery of the project/ programs
  • Complete oversight of the project plan and the ongoing activities to proactively manage interdependencies and identify opportunities to accelerate/ improve
  • Anticipate risks and develop mitigation actions ahead of the risks realizing
  • Propose / drive improvements or alternative approaches to obtain improved project results.
  • Setup and manage a cross functional project Team creating a common sense of purpose to achieve ensure best in class Team dynamics, collaboration and trust
  • Set and agree project/programme budget and thereafter monitor and control.
  • Ensure regular review of business cases in line with governance rules
  • Set up and chair regular and frequent cross functional project team meetings.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation and tracking in line with company guidelines
  • Ensure updates to main stakeholders including steering groups, executive committee members and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Proactively liaise with internal and external experts to ensure adoption of best practice.

  • For this role, you will also have the following: Qualifications:
  • MBA or Scientific Masters degree
  • Significant experience of managing projects within the pharmaceutical sector, optimally in regional or corporate roles and/ or consulting background with experience in Pharma
  • Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Proven track record in project management, optimally in development or launch projects
  • Ideally have worked in Generics of Specialty Pharma
  • Experience of working on pipeline growth within the pharmaceutical sector (product in-licencing etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of main Pharmaceutical Value Chain elements, such as Regulatory, Development, Production and Supply, Go to market approaches
  • Experience managing multiple strategic projects / work-streams
