Full Job Description

This role will ensure the smooth running of the Strategy and Development Team, by providing an efficient and high quality administrative support service. In particular, this role will support Trust-wide transformation initiatives and administration of overseas and private patient activity.

The role will also offer the opportunity to support with the rest of the team's highly varied portfolio which includes: strategy development and implementation, business planning, project management of large-scale projects, project management training, the intellectual property group and the innovation panel.

This is a busy, fast-paced and exciting role, which will involve multitasking and prioritising. It is essential that the post holder is proactive and flexible and able to manage their own workload, as this is a key role in the effective running of the team. The post holder will be line managed by the Programme Manager for Projects., As a result of the team's varied portfolio, the role will involve a variety of tasks such as prioritising a varying workload day-to-day, formatting and creating presentations and other documents, diary management, organising and supporting events, taking minutes and actions, as well as direct contact with patients, staff and the public. Maintaining confidentiality of information throughout the full range of duties involved will be essential.
