The Strategy team at White & Case are a highly skilled, advisory group, comprised mostly of former strategy consultants. The team works closely with the Executive Committee to run all aspects of the strategy function - from formulation through execution. This includes market and financial analysis, strategy development, project scoping, design, testing, implementation, change management, and KPI development and tracking.

The Strategy Senior Specialist will report to the Global Director of Strategy, playing a critical role in formulating and executing projects vital to achieving the Firm's vision. You will work on global projects that impact every practice within the Firm, providing significant opportunities to build and enhance your strategic and analytical skillset. The Strategy Senior Specialist will also play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of these initiatives, fostering engagement, and driving the impact of our strategic efforts.

Under the direction of the Global Director of Strategy, you will collaborate with the Executive Committee, Strategy Committees and task forces, relevant functional leaders, and the Strategy team to drive initiatives from strategy formulation to execution. Additionally, you will support and work closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants, utilizing broad consulting skills such as gathering, cleansing, and analyzing data; developing pertinent and thoughtful insights; contributing to the creation of deliverables in PowerPoint, Excel, and Visualization Tools (e.g., Power BI); and creating work plans while managing competing deadlines., Strategy Project Support

  • Contribute to the development and management of detailed project plans and timelines.

  • Assist in gathering and documenting comprehensive project requirements.

  • Engage in interviews, meetings, and workshops to thoroughly understand Firm and project-specific goals and deliverables.


  • Data Analysis and Insights
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data to effectively support project objectives.

  • Prepare compelling data visualizations and summaries to clearly communicate findings.

  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to identify meaningful trends and insights.


  • Benchmarking
  • Conduct thorough industry and market research to inform project recommendations.

  • Benchmark Firm practices against industry standards and best practices.

  • Compile research findings into clear, concise, and actionable reports.


  • Solution Development and Implementation
  • Develop hypotheses and research solutions, frameworks, and methodologies to meet project-specific requirements, leveraging accurate and appropriate sources (e.g., interviewing partners, researching third-party data sources).

  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and evaluate potential solutions.

  • Assist in creating comprehensive project documentation, reports, and presentations.

  • Provide support during the implementation phase of recommendations.

  • Assist in training end users on new approaches and systems.

  • Monitor and report on the progress of implementation activities to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Maintain and organize the Strategy team's online document repositories.

  • Support senior leaders in executing project tasks, activities, and ad hoc strategy requests.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related/relevant field

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in consulting, business analysis, banking, or related roles

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio); familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, PowerBI) is a plus

    About White & Case, This role is a permanent, full-time position based in our London office, and reports into the Global Director of Strategy.
    Our standard office hours are 09:30-18:30, with a current requirement for 3 days in the office per week.
