Full Job Description
FM Conway is currently seeking a Street Lighting Installation Operative to join our Street Lighting division. As our Street Lighting Installation Operative you will be working within a team of ground workers undertaking electric street lighting installations across a range of high-profile projects in Central London. This is a permanent, full time position based in Central London.
The duties of the role will include:
- Working within health and safety plans, method statements and risk assessments
- Working with awareness of incident reporting, SWMP and environmental plans provided
- Interpreting scaled drawings of basic electrical installations and detailed drawings of underground cabling
- Ensuring that all site works are executed in a time and cost-efficient manner whilst ensuring regular liaison with the supervisor
- Maintaining plant, vehicle and materials record sheets to support the works programme as well as ensuring that all plant is fit for purpose and maintained to required standards
You will have previous experience of working in the Street Lighting industry and you will hold a NRSWA Units 1-9 certification. You will also have experience in excavations and reinstatements. This role will involve travel to other FM Conway and customer locations therefore, you must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving licence., Disability Confident
