Join our Living Places team as a Street Lighting Operative in Herefordshire and you can build something to be proud of., To support growth of our Street Lighting Business within a set contract. Carrying out various tasks to maintain street light furniture ensuring that all Health and Safety objectives and responsibilities are adhered to.

  • The installation, repair and maintenance of lighting brackets, Lanterns, Overhead cables, Bollards and signs
  • The changing of lamps, lamp holders, covers, electric cells, fuses, capacitors, switches etc.
  • Management of basic on site risk assessments
  • Responsible for site traffic management
  • Responsible for company equipment and vehicles

    Must be comfortable working within a team and to tight deadlines
  • You will have ability to read maps and must have good level of written and numerical skills
  • A demonstrable ability to learn new processes quickly
  • Excellent attention to detail and self-motivated
  • Able to demonstrate analytical skills
