Streets Operative- City Centre

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated street cleansing maintenance team focused on delivering exceptional service. The primary responsibilities of this Grade 1 role include enhancing the cleanliness and overall quality of streets, parks, open spaces, and housing areas within Norwich City Centre. The successful candidate will engage in various tasks such as litter picking, emptying street bins, pressure washing street furniture, weeding hard surfaces, and sweeping designated areas. Additionally, the role requires providing temporary coverage during staff absences and assisting with specific tasks to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Daily reporting to a team leader regarding the condition of the areas serviced is essential, as is the ability to identify and escalate any issues encountered during the workday., Candidates should possess a valid driving license to operate various vehicles as part of their duties. Basic maintenance of tools and equipment is also expected, along with the prompt reporting of any safety concerns or equipment defects using the designated VRC APP. It is crucial to conduct daily checks on vehicles and equipment, ensuring all findings are documented accurately. Full UK Driving License
- Demonstrable experience in working in a physical role
