Full Job Description

Are you a nurse who is passionate about Stroke management?

Are you looking for a new challenge, with the opportunity to build on existing leadership and clinical skills ?

We are looking for a specialist nurse to join our Stroke Practitioner and Specialist Nurse Team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about delivering high quality care to patients whilst empowering them to manage their condition.

Extensive transformation work has taken place to develop a fully merged University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust Stroke Service, providing high quality stroke specialist care for Poole and Bournemouth patients.

As the successful candidate you will work within a team based in Bournemouth . Sharing your stroke expertise with colleagues is also an essential part of this post, supporting those with less experience to build their specialist skills.

In addition, supporting the development of the service alongside the Team Leader and Stroke Nurse Practitioner colleagues will be a key part of this role. These developments are in line with national guidelines as well as clinical best practice and will require an innovative approach and working collaboratively with key professionals in the wider team.

The working pattern will include weekend and bank holiday working as part of a shared rota.

This role requires an active UK NMC or HCPC Registration, To understand the role in more detail please read the full job description and person specification documents which are attached to this advert
