Full Job Description

London Business School are looking for a Student Association Finance Officer to join on a fixed-term basis until October 2025. The purpose of the post is to be the main point of contact between Student Association and LBS Finance. The SA Finance Officer will approve SA expenditures, liaise with Finance to make sure AP and Credit Control are being done/follow through, and set up suppliers for SA/bank account verification. You will also process supplier invoices and generation of BACS run and attend Finance meetings with SA including taking minutes.,

  • Respond to requests from all stakeholders, providing specialist advice to deliver the information and providing an excellent service.
  • Design and develop materials and policy guidance, with supervision from more senior colleagues, for use in the provision of an efficient and effective business support service.
  • Independently collate, cleanse and analyse data, and make recommendations based on analysis to support the department's decision making process.
  • You will work across various functions, including working with AP, AR, FP&A and Reporting. When you're not doing SA related activities you will be supporting the AP team for instance.

    Credit control, sales ledger and purchase ledger experience.
  • A results orientated individual.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent organisation skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrable people skills, someone who is used to being a self starter, with the ability to working through problems to resolve them.
