Full Job Description

Bringing together an understanding of technical deliverability, data and analytics, marketing strategy and industry compliance, the Deliverability Manager has a broad range of skills used to provide support, education and guidance. The Deliverability Manager's day-to-day role is one of internal and client communication on a regional and global level; answering ticket-based customer support escalations; problem solving and investigation, providing analytical insight and strategic marketing solutions to clients; and the technical setup and management relating to email and digital messaging Additionally, the Deliverability Manager supports the Sales and Marketing function through outreach functions; helps educate clients and internal teams through blogs, webinars and advice articles; supports messaging technology teams with expert insight and solutions; and provides digital messaging compliance support.,

  • Understand the core principles of email deliverability (email authentication; email compliance; plus how email filters operate, the challenges these filters pose to email marketers, and solutions to those challenges)
  • Compile information to support the investigation and solution of email deliverability issues
  • Support the administration and setup of new accounts and clients
  • Support the administration and setup of the email sending platform
  • Compile and present reports to Emarsys deliverability team
  • Provide deliverability support internally and directly to clients, using and referring to help-site resources and similar guides
  • Verifying technical configurations, including DNS records, email authentication, email format (RFC compliance), FBL registration and functionality, relay and bounce processes
  • Verify compliance with core legal requirements, ISP policies and industry guidelines
  • MTA (PowerMTA) configuration, management and performance analysis

    Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the area of marketing, data science or statistics
  • Some experience in software development, networking, and/or relational databases
  • Competency in Microsoft Office
  • An ability to learn new concepts quickly and confidently
  • A helpful and approachable persona
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to communicate complicated information clearly and simply
  • Ability to manage time and work remotely and unsupervised
  • A passion for analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting
