This role is full-time, working 37 hours per week.

Day to day duties of the role

Supporting, promoting, and increasing engagement with the Student Union and cross college enrichment activities which incorporate Active Weston. This includes improving student and apprentices' ability to access activities and all opportunities are effectively promoted.
Act as a student contact point for information, advice, and guidance relating to all student enrichment and Students' Union related matters.
Providing an extensive range of enrichment and wider opportunities for students to be actively involved in all aspects of college life and the wider community, including the college fundraising week where money is raised for charity.
Organising and running activities at the commencement of the academic year including Fresher's Week and enrollment, aiding the smooth transition of students into their studies at Weston College.

Experience of successfully engaging with young people and organising events / activities through a voluntary and / or paid role.
Ability to maintain an independent viewpoint, on behalf of the student body.
Reliable and committed to educational enhancement and Quality Assurance.
