Full Job Description

As the Student Funding Officer responsible for the Clarendon Fund you will be undertaking a diverse role. This includes work that is detailed (e.g. budgeting and co-ordinating the award process for new scholars) and creative (e.g. producing content for the Fund's website and organising events). It also includes working with a wide range of our partners (such as colleges, academic departments and divisions, and Oxford University Press) and supporting the scholars themselves. You will line manage one colleague who also works full-time on Clarendon. This role is available as the postholder is on secondment in another role within SFF. This is part of SFF's commitment to staff development.

In this role you will need to be creative, well-organised, and able to establish good working relationships with our partners and scholars. You will draw on your numeracy and IT skills, pro-actively improving the administration of the Scholarships to enable the Clarendon Fund to keep on making a positive difference to our students' lives.

This post is based within SFF's scholarships team, which is primarily focused on the provision of scholarships for postgraduate students. This is a friendly and supportive team of 13 people. This post is focused on the Clarendon Fund, which is the University's largest postgraduate scholarship programme.
