Full Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. We are looking for postgraduate Nursing Students in their second year of study who are organised, professional, and enthusiastic to support with an upcoming University Open Day on 13 November. We need you to support with the Postgraduate Open Day, and work with the teaching team to meet prospective students on the day and talk about what it's like to be an MSc Nursing student at Manchester Met. It really makes a difference to have current students at our Open Days, and you will be contributing to the positive representation of higher education and address the key selling points of Manchester Met. Duties may include:

  • Represent MSc Nursing students at the Open Day.
  • Support academics by answering questions prospective students and guests may have, assisting with presentations and facility demonstrations.
  • Assist visitors with directions, guidance and general queries.
  • Offering guidance and assistance to help students familiarise themselves with the campus.

    This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements -
  • Essential
  • Second year MSc Nursing Student, able to talk to prospective students about the MSc Nursing programme.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with staff, prospective students and teachers.
  • Able to contribute and work effectively as part of a team or independently.
  • A responsible, positive, cheerful and welcoming attitude.
