Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join the directorate for Strategic Planning and Student Administration (SPSA) which is at the forefront of supporting and enhancing the student journey through the University.
The Student Record System Coordinator role will be in the SITS Maintenance and Development team within Student Record Systems. The role will primarily be responsible for the operational maintenance of SITS, the University's student information system, ensuring that this supports the student journey lifecycle and ensuring that the data is stored, processed and able to be reported on in line with system requirements including analysis. The role will also provide an important contribution to longer term developments in the use of SITS within the University, and including how e-vision can enhance access to and reporting from SITS.
The successful candidate will be a true team player, customer focused and provide support across the University. They will have experience in the use of large data systems and a good understanding of data structures. They will be able to plan and organise their own work, use initiative, contribute ideas for process improvement and demonstrate a flexible approach, ensuring effective service delivery outcomes. Experience of working within Higher Education and supporting processes associated with the student journey would be helpful but is not essential.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable, but not essential., Disability Confident
