Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the directorate for Strategic Planning and Student Administration (SPSA) which is at the forefront of supporting and enhancing the student journey through the University.

The Student Record System Senior Developer role will be in the SITS Maintenance and Development team within Student Record Systems. The role will be key as the "hands on" senior developer lead and will be responsible for leading a small development team to design, develop, test, and deploy software using the SITS platform. This role will be responsible for managing the Development Team in day to day activities, whilst providing technical leadership and expertise. Keeping up to date with new products and features within SITS and associated technologies is essential as you would be a main point of contact for SITS development and projects. This is a responsible, demanding and pivotal position within the Student Record Systems team.

The successful candidate will have an experienced background in leading and mentoring a development team and will take a personal hands on approach and responsibility for getting things done with consistent successful proven outcomes. They will be a true team player with a proven track record of developing and delivering high-quality solutions along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including professional services, to understand business requirements and design software solutions that meet those needs.
