Full Job Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an organised, motivated and enthusiastic person to join our friendly events team based within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. This is a busy and varied role, that will help shape our new administrative structures and processes supporting faculty and departmental objectives relating to student recruitment and conversion. The team is responsible for delivering high quality recruitment and conversion events and activities both on campus and digitally to reach our target audiences in the UK and around the globe.

A proven team player and confident communicator, you will need to be able to prioritise your workload and work under pressure whilst developing and maintaining mutually beneficial working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You will have excellent organisational skills and events organisation experience. You will pay close attention to detail and have a flexible approach to your work.

This role will also involve school and college liaison, including attendance at UK Higher Education fairs, which may necessitate occasional travel outside of core working hours.

You will report to the Student Recruitment and Conversion Officer and work closely with the Admissions Office, Marketing, faculty and departmental recruitment teams and other key University staff.

This role is offered on a full-time, temporary contract until 30 September 2025. The role will be mainly based on campus with hybrid working options available. The preference to fully work on campus can be accommodated if desired.
