This role supports the award-winning student recruitment team, primarily through management of the end-to-end recruitment process and involvement in attraction activities to recruit diverse talent. The Officer role plays a key part in a team that is dedicated to ensuring KPMG's undergraduate, graduate and apprenticeship recruitment processes are leading within its industry. The Officer will work closely with the Coordinator cohort and their Assistant Manager in order to provide an efficient, high quality, client focused service for applicants and the business alike, throughout the recruitment process.,
- Working with Assistant Manager to manage the candidate journey from application through to onboarding, plus supporting in post offer engagement activities.
- Closely monitor the number of candidates coming through the process, to predict outcomes, agree actions and ensure appropriate focus is placed on target routes. Escalating to Assistant Managers when needed.
- Provide regular and robust Management Information through reporting of pipelines.
- Progress applications through the recruitment process in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Support with organising, coordinating and facilitating KPMG's Launch Pads, and other assessment stages.
- Delivering a positive candidate journey by acting as a point of contact for candidates in their pipelines and responding to general telephone and inbox enquiries in line with SLAs.
- Support with the organisation and delivery of our work experience programmes.
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders within the business, building relationships to gain their support as assessors and event volunteers.
- Delivering support and outcomes to candidates throughout the recruitment process. Attraction and Outreach
- Supporting the Outreach and Attraction team by attending and delivering events both online and in person on campus and at schools/colleges
- Work closely with the Outreach and Attraction team within Student Recruitment to advise on pipeline health and hotspot areas to ensure their strategy is aligned to demand. As part of their role, officers will work on ad hoc projects in addition to the above., Whilst this role is office based, you will be required to travel to KPMG offices and events around the country - this will require overnight stays during campaign time and on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year.
- Experience of student marketplace and/or recruitment operations. Passionate about Student Recruitment and creating a positive candidate experience.
- Clear understanding of the Student Recruitment Cycle and a good knowledge of the marketplace.
- Strong IT skills, notably Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, being able to independently manage their own workload and responsibilities whilst recognising when to escalate concerns.
- Ability to produce high quality work, paying close attention to detail.
- Drive and commitment to improving diversity and inclusion within professional services.
- Flexibility to work within a fast-paced environment, being able to adapt to change quickly and positively.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders of varying management levels.
