Full Job Description

This role involves working as part of our small and friendly Professional Support Services team, and reporting to the Student Services Manager. You will gain a good working knowledge of our departmental systems and University Policies and Procedures and use this to provide effective and efficient administrative support for all aspects of the student's journey.

We are currently seeking a professional administrator, with experience of dealing with students, to carry out a range of duties relating to the student facing services and administration of our undergraduate degree programmes. An enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude, you will be student-facing and also assist with general administration. With over 1,000 students studying on our 6 undergraduate degree programmes, and 11 MA programmes, you will need to be highly organised with excellent IT and interpersonal skills, in order to provide a high-quality service to both students and staff.,

  • Educated to GCSE level or above, or possessing equivalent educational experience, you will bring your thorough knowledge of administrative processes and procedures gained in a large complex organisation and your excellent IT skills to the role.
  • You will have a high degree of attention to detail and be able to effectively organise and prioritise your own work and follow procedure to produce work of a high standard to required deadlines.
  • You will have experience of analysing, interpreting and presenting data and dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
