Student Support Assistant

Full and Part Time (16 - 42 hours per week) £20,455.84 - £22,586.44 per annum starting salary (Pro rata for part time) Treloar's is one of the largest specialist schools and colleges in the UK for children & young people with physical disabilities. We seek to recruit people who are passionate about supporting children & young adults with physical disabilities. These roles include assisting the students in a residential boarding house and in classrooms within our school or college. The roles we offer are:

• Residential Support Assistant (including days, evenings & alternate weekends)
• Dual Role Student Support Assistant - Education & Residential (including days, evenings & alternate weekends)
• Classroom based Student Support Assistant 9am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri
• Midday Assistant Position, 10am-2:00pm, Mon-Fri

Key duties and responsibilities:
• Helping students with all aspects of daily living
• Assisting with nutritional and feedings requirements
• Supporting students to reach their goals
• Working closely with Healthcare Professionals
• Documenting care using our user-friendly mobile notes
• Personal care including washing, dressing and toileting
• Previous experience is not necessary. Full training will be provided
