Full Job Description
We are looking to appoint a Student Support Officer to join our successful team to help support and assist with managing student behaviour and encouraging attendance amongst our learners on a fixed term contract till July 2025., You will be responsible for promoting an optimal learning environment and acting as a deterrent to unsafe or unacceptable behaviour by monitoring designated areas. In addition, you will be required to provide individual support to learners and signpost learners to the relevant support needs.
Given the nature of this role we require someone who is passionate about delivering the very best experience to young people. You will ideally hold a First Aid at Work Certificate and demonstrate the ability to respond to incidents/ accidents when required. You'll also have experience in a similar role and setting. Finally, you'll possess recent and relevant experience of working within a team as well as the ability to demonstrate good communications skills with persons on all levels.
£21,000.67 - £24,329.86 pro rata per annum
