Full Job Description

  • Monitor student attendance daily in collaboration with the Student Experience Coordinator - Student Data & Enhancement.

  • Maintain and update the student attendance database weekly, adhering to Centre and UKVI requirements.

  • Run relevant reports from Study Group systems to monitor student attendance.

  • Ensure registers are fully complete to enable effective attendance monitoring.

  • Collaborate with the Student Experience Coordinator to identify students not engaging with the Centre Attendance Policy.

  • Keep the progression database up to date and provide it to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.

  • Explore new opportunities for progression-related activities within the Centre.

  • Assist in planning and delivering student induction and progression weeks for various intakes.

  • Oversee BeSocial events to ensure high levels of student engagement.

  • Address general student inquiries.

  • Foster productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Produce student letters upon request.

  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth student enrollment processes.

  • Update and maintain student details on central databases, including contact information, visa/passport details, and sponsorship information.

  • Perform any other duties required by the Head of Student Experience.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to support student record management and student events. This is a fast-paced environment, and the successful applicant will have excellent attendance to details as they will be required to ensure the accuracy of students' records and possess excellent IT, communication and organisational skills. The post holder will be working in an open plan office, so it is important they enjoy working as part of a team in an international environment., GCSEs at Grade C/Grade 4 or above, including Maths and English, or equivalent/higher qualifications.

  • Experience in events coordination.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, pressurized office environment.

  • Experience in a Higher Education (HE) or Further Education (FE) environment (Desirable).

  • Experience working with international students (Desirable).

  • Strong coordination and organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficient administrative and IT skills.

  • Effective communication skills with a wide range of people to achieve successful outcomes.

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and take initiative.

  • Understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults (Desirable).
