Full Job Description

    Students applying to a STEP Internship must be in their 1st year of studies, if enrolled on a 3 year Bachelors degree program, or their 2nd year of studies, if enrolled on a 4 year dual Bachelor's/Master's degree program in the EMEA region. For students later in their studies please consider applying to our Software Engineering Opportunities. Participation in the STEP internship program requires that you are located in one of the specific country locations identified for this role, for the duration of the internship program and have the legal right to work in the location, for the duration of the program. Interns will be required to be available to work full-time for 12 weeks over the Summer 2025 (starting in July) for the duration of the program., Currently enrolled and in your first or second year of a Bachelor's degree, or combined Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field in the EMEA region.

  • Available for a full-time 12-week internship from 30th June to 26th September 2025.

  • Programming experience in either Java, C++ or Python.


  • Preferred qualifications:
  • Returning to a full-time Bachelor's degree for a minimum of two years after completing the internship.

  • Experience in programming outside of your university course.

  • Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.

The Student Training in Engineering Program (STEP) aims to do just that. The 12 week program offers students the opportunity to work on a software project alongside another STEP intern, with the support of full-time Googlers and a mentor. You will also attend trainings to enhance your technical and professional skills.
