Full Job Description

First Class Support provides academic support to students in receipt of disabled student allowance (DSA). We pride ourselves on only employing first class support specialists that are passionate about making a difference to the lives of people studying higher education courses across the United Kingdom.
Due to recent demand, we are looking for a Study Assistant to join our team of specialist support staff.
The role is based in Bath, Somerset.
Current days of work are below -
Monday, Tuesday and Friday
You will be responsible in enabling support for students such as assisting them in adapting to the academic demands of Higher Education. Providing them with information and helping them with time keeping & organisational skills.
Please note that students will require ongoing support throughout their course; others might require less support as the course continues; while some students might need additional support as the demands of their course intensify.
Your Skills:
We are looking for candidate who have experience working with students with disabilities. You will understand the barriers which disabled students may have in accessing learning, but not the specialist experience and knowledge.

You will preferably be educated to degree level (2:2 or above) and have a passion for academia and the physical and psychological well-being of others. This is a fantastic opportunity to enrich a student s experience at university.
The working hours vary according to the needs of the student and the academic timetable. Due to the nature of the role, our support workers are required to be registered or become registered Self Employed. This recruitment campaign is aimed at supporting students during the academic year and immediate work is available, depending on availability and location
