Full Job Description
The Sub Agent will be responsible for the management of the construction site in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers' objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.
Rail experience desirable.
- Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent)
- Relevant CSCS card
- CRE Accreditation (preferable)
- SMSTS 5 days
- T.S
- Good knowledge of specifications and testing regime relevant to general civil engineering
- Hands on approach to the commercial and planning aspects of the project
- Civil engineering and construction experience
- Able to produce and explain accurate plans and drawings
- Good IT skills and able to work confidently with MS Office and other system applications
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations This role would suit an ambitious, driven individual who embraces the challenge of working within a high performing and supportive team. Experience within the civil engineering industry is essential for this role, ideally coming from a main contractor background.

Opportunity: Morgan Sindall are growing the team to work across a portfolio of projects on the Eastern Routes Partnership with Network Rail. The Eastern Route Partnership comprises a large portfolio of Civils works during Control period 7 (CP7) with enhancement projects, Access for All schemes and structure renewals projects all part of the portfolio. The scope of the work varies across the framework however it is expected that the scope will comprise of construction, repair and refurbishment of station buildings, construction & refurbishment of platforms, footbridges, lifts, car parking areas and all associated ancillary and M&E works - lifts, cable route works, plant. It is anticipated that the scope will also comprise of structure works to overbridges, underbridges and footbridges including repair, refurbishment and replacement. The works are located across Network Rails Eastern, East Midlands and Anglia areas with the initial volume of works being based near Bedford., Millions of people rely on Britain's rail network to take them safely and efficiently across the country every day.
