Subject Lead for Business

MPS/UPS, plus TLR 2a

Start January 2025

The Hart School is seeking to appoint a Subject Lead for Business to deliver outstanding lessons as well as to have responsibility for the leadership, promotion and development of Business across the School.

Responsibilities will include overseeing the provision of Business at KS4 and KS5 ensuring an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and adaptive curriculum is in place.

Business aims to enable students to develop as commercially minded and enterprising individuals who think critically, drawing on business information and evidence to develop arguments and make justified decisions.

The successful candidate will be passionate about the importance of the Business and its relevance to the real-world bringing learning to life. They will take the lead setting goals that stretch and challenge pupils of all backgrounds and abilities. They will encourage pupils to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study. They will demonstrate high quality teaching, effective use of resources and the highest standards of learning and achievement for all pupils.
