Submarine Operations Centre Lead

As a Submarine Operations Centre Lead, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Executing and continuing future development of the joint Submarine Operations Centre capability. Day-to-day, you'll be embedded with the SDA's Submarine Platform Managers as a technical problem solver to ensure smooth delivery to the client.

• Provide and present complex programme & engineering data analysis to enable collaborative decision-making, driving enterprise performance improvement
• You will lead critical Submarine Operations Centre planning and co-ordination activities, identifying Issues and actions affecting certainty of delivery of the submarine programme
• You will provide critical advice to key stakeholders whilst being supported by project & engineering teams conducting key engineering & programme analysis
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and requires regular travel to Bristol BTC OR Abbey Wood on a weekly / monthly basis alongside home working arrangements.

Essential experience of the Submarine Operations Centre Lead
• Knowledge of submarine in-service support arrangements
• Proven senior stakeholder management experience
• Full Project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out
• Experience in a project management position
• Ability to champion high performance & inspire others
Qualifications for the Submarine Operations Centre Lead
• A bachelor's degree in engineering / project / construction management or equivalent experience
• Chartership or demonstrated route to chartership in project management or engineering
