As a Summer Intern on a 12-week placement, you will gain insight into one of the different Engineering disciplines, such as:

  • Aerodynamics
  • Design
  • Materials
  • Electromagnetics
  • Structures
  • Integration
  • Airworthiness
  • Support
  • Mission Systems
  • Information Systems
  • Test Engineering
  • Flight Systems
  • This placement will provide the perfect package of experience for a passionate Intern looking to gain valuable skills and insight into a worldwide defense organisation. There is also the possibility of returning to the Accelerate Graduate programme based on a recommendation from your placement manager, your performance, aspirations, and Graduate Programme potential.,
  • Develop an understanding of the discipline and contribute to the daily tasks within the team.
  • Broaden your knowledge of the engineering lifecycle and where your discipline supports the overall delivery of a product/service.
  • Communicate with team members and various stakeholders with professionalism and build a network of contacts.
  • Engage in all activities with enthusiasm and a willingness to contribute towards the task at hand.
  • Maintain a safe working practice at all times.

    As a minimum requirement, you'll need to be on track to obtain a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree. All subjects considered.
