BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is home to 4,500 digital, cyber and intelligence experts. We work collaboratively across 10 countries to collect, connect and understand complex data, so that governments, nation states, armed forces and commercial businesses can unlock digital advantage in the most demanding environments., The role of a Project Management Intern is to harness the expertise of our talented and highly experienced Programme Managers, Service Delivery Managers and Project Management Control professionals to successfully support the delivery of a mixture of business and technical Projects, Programmes and IT Services.

You will provide support to a project team within the business, focussing on portfolios, programmes and projects. As part of this assignment you will learn the skills required to interpret and facilitate governance and reporting processes, project set-up and close down tasks as well as the management of project finance activities.

Please note, you may be required to work on client sites, which are away from your base location - this can be for an extended period of time. In this instance, all travel and expenses costs will be covered.

The ideal intern will have excellent analytical and numerical skills and be able to demonstrate objective and logical thinking. You will have a desire to learn along with having a creative mind. Having clear and effective communication skills will stand you in good stead along with being articulate both verbally and in writing. In the role you will be expected to work well as part of a team, so interpersonal skills are key. You will also need to show resilience under pressure. As expected being competent in Microsoft Office packages is essential along with being IT literate.,

  • On track to achieve a 2:2 or above, in a science, technology, engineering or maths (STEM) subject
