Summer Placement Quantity Surveyor

We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor student to join our construction team based in Witham on a Summer Placement., As a Summer Placement candidate you will assist in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and develop a strong foundation in quantity surveying. Your day to day will include:

• Assisting in preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and cost estimates
• Supporting in the measurement and valuation of work done on-site.
• Helping prepare and submit tenders and contract documents.
• Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure work is being carried out to specifications.

  We're on the lookout for students undertaking a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field, who can join us on an 8-week placement. You must be returning to university upon completion of your placement., Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

• Must hold Full UK Drivers Licence with access to own vehicle
