Full Job Description

We're looking for a Supervisor to join our Transportation team based in Radlett. Within this role, you can enjoy competitive annual holiday entitlement with opportunities to buy/sell leave, a fantastic, matched pension scheme, a share in the success you help to create by investing in Kier through our Sharesave and Share Incentive Plans and even more, As Supervisor, you'll be working within the Maintenance team, supporting them in providing first level supervision of both internal and external operations, overseeing the day-to-day functions of the routine maintenance and schemes work associated with structures.

Your day to day will include:

  • Working closely with the Operations Manager, Programme Manager and other supervisors planning and completing works within the determined time frame and within the constraints of the contract to meet KPI's, providing updated programs to the Operations Manager and attending internal / client meetings, collaborating with client engineers, updating project programs

  • Date to date programme monitoring using information submitted via emails or information from meetings capturing EWN's and CEs, identifying which activities are critical to successful delivery, keeping schemes registers up to date with information issued from client

  • Managing key performance indicator's (KPI's) relevant to schemes delivery, utilising Confirm for task requests / orders from client, monitoring against annual allocation and report monthly updates

  • Tracking programs completing health & safety files as per program and issuing physical / scheme completion certificates as required, reviewing sub-contractor RAMs and checking health & safety documentation meets Kier minimum standards,

  • Providing technical briefings to staff prior to works commencing, delivering toolbox talks and audits, reviewing daily productivity targets managing budgets, assisting in emergency response and organising remedial repairs

    You are a great team leader that motivate and push others on

  • Have previous experience working on high profile contracts within highways / traffic management including knowledge of network operations and scheme delivery and NEC form of contract

  • Hold SMSTS or SSSTS and can drive / hold a driving licence
