Full Job Description

As a Site Supervisor at Sodexo at Fortius Clinic London, you will oversee the daily operations of catering, housekeeping, and portering services, ensuring high standards of efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with company and client policies. Key responsibilities include supervising teams, managing performance, and addressing issues to prevent non-conformance. This position emphasises maintaining excellent customer service, managing stock and supplies, and ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety, Infection Control, and Food Safety regulations. Additionally, the role requires strong organisational skills to oversee deep cleaning schedules, handle VIP guest preparations, and ensure that all staff are properly trained and motivated.   • Supervise teams and ensure compliance with company and client policies, including handling issues to prevent non-conformance, and managing performance, absences, and rosters.
  • Oversee catering, housekeeping, and portering services, ensuring high standards of efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to departmental quality standards and service level agreements.
  • Ensure team members report for duty on time, in proper uniform, and maintain a high standard of personal grooming, leading by example.
  • Inspect, monitor, and record compliance with Health & Safety, Infection Control, Food Handling, and Hygiene regulations, and provide feedback to management.
  • Manage stockrooms, control stock levels, and allocate materials to avoid misuse, and place orders for catering, housekeeping, and linen supplies.
  • Handle customer service concerns promptly, including dietary requirements, allergens management, and responding to complaints, ensuring a customer-focused and motivated team.
  • Maintain accurate records for food safety (temperatures, breakages, waste), equipment usage, and report incidents or accidents, while ensuring all staff complete mandatory training.
  • Assist in organising and supervising deep cleans, VIP guest preparations, technical cleaning audits, and accompany sub-contractors on site when required.

  • Leadership and Team Management - The ability to supervise, motivate, and manage team performance, ensuring adherence to policies and maintaining high standards in daily operations.
  • Organisational and Time Management Skills - Effectively managing multiple responsibilities, such as overseeing services, stock control, audits, and scheduling deep cleans, while ensuring tasks are completed on time.
  • Health & Safety and Compliance Knowledge - A strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations, Food Safety, and Infection Control to ensure compliance in all service areas and manage potential risks.
  • Customer Service Skills - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to handle customer complaints, manage dietary requirements, and ensure a customer-focused approach across all services.
  • Attention to Detail - The ability to monitor standards closely, maintain accurate records, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with national cleaning standards and other regulations.
