Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Daventry, managing the daily activities of a production team.

In this role, here are some of the ways you will make an impact:

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.

  • Project Leadership: Serve as group lead on projects and work assignments.

  • Team Guidance: Provide guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; set expectations and clarify responsibilities.

  • Coaching and Mentoring: Coach and mentor team members.

  • Continuous Process Improvement: Recognize areas in which processes can be improved by properly implementing process improvement and waste reduction methodologies to reduce costs and improve quality in current manufacturing processes.

  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis: Examine HSE incidents by completing quality, evidence-based investigations with accurate root cause analysis, resulting in effective corrective actions, accurate reporting, and avoiding repeated incidents.

  • Health and Safety Fundamentals: Champion and model proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting, and participating in actions to improve health and safety to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.

    College, university, or equivalent degree required with previous people management and production environment experience.

  • Talent Development: Develop talent to meet both career goals and the organization's goals.

  • Team Building: Build strong-identity teams that apply diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.

  • Effective Communication: Develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

  • Decision Quality and Directs Work: Provide direction, delegate, and remove obstacles to get work done.

  • Work Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours as this would be a shift rotation role.

    £30,720 - £38,400 (depending on experience)

  • Defined contribution pension scheme - company contributions up to 9%
