Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Daventry, managing the daily activities of a production team., In this role, here are some of the ways you will make an impact:

  • Supervision of the daily activities of a production unit or teams.
  • Responsible for the daily activities of a production team including managing team members housekeeping, and meeting production targets.
  • Works cross functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
  • Serves as group lead on projects and work assignments.
  • Provides guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; sets expectations and clarifies responsibilities.
  • Coaches and mentors team members. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
  • Continuous Process Improvement: Recognize areas in which processes can be improved by properly implementing process improvement and waste reduction methodologies to reduce costs and improve quality in current manufacturing processes.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis: Examine HSE incidents by completing quality, evidence-based investigations with accurate root cause analysis, resulting in effective corrective actions, accurate reporting, and avoiding repeated incidents.
  • Health and Safety Fundamentals: Champion and model proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting, and participating in actions to improve health and safety to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Supervisory experience in production/manufacturing environment.
  • Previous solid experience in team management:

  • Work Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours as this would be a shift rotation role.
  • Additional : Office/IT knowledge and exposure

    £35,000 - £38,400 (depending on experience)
