Full Job Description

We are looking for a customer focused Information and Communications Officer to join the Education Process Improvement team, to help support colleagues and students by providing structured and organised information and/or training about our education administration processes, procedures and systems.

You'll join an enthusiastic team, working closely with colleagues in Education and Student Success and communicating with faculty and school administration offices.

What will you be doing?

You will provide advice and support to other teams on producing appropriately written and targeted content and communications. You will also be responsible for producing and/or reviewing content for specific projects. This will include working with our Education Administration Enhancement software development teams to create user support materials and communication plans.

Exploiting your awareness of web standards, accessibility and content design, you will develop and maintain our Bristol Education Administration Manual (BEAM), and other divisional communication sites. You will curate an education administration focussed bulletin, drawing on knowledge of the student lifecycle.

You should apply if

  • You have a passion for communication, quality information provision, and ensuring people have the resources they need to do their job.

  • You are interested in providing clarity about complex processes, to make support information accessible and user focussed.

  • You should be able to effectively manage and prioritise your own workload whilst contributing to team objectives.
