Full Job Description

We are currently seeking to recruit a School International Officer for a 12-month parental leave cover. School International Officers work closely with the University of Bristol Business School and the International Office to help the school achieve its internationalisation objectives. In addition to international student recruitment, the role involves contributing to partnership development and study abroad arrangements, offering the postholder broad exposure to the full spectrum of international activities within the Business School. Although based in the International Student Recruitment Team, School International Officers are expected to spend the majority of their time working directly within the Business School or alongside its colleagues.What will you be doing? You will coordinate a range of initiatives to support the outcomes and progress of the action plan developed jointly by the International Office and the Business School. This includes liaising with colleagues across the Global Engagement Division, Marketing and Communications, and University Admissions Teams as needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and coordinating activities for specific recruitment and international purposes, such as partner visits, offer holder events, and school visits. This will involve selecting the most appropriate staff, managing budgets, analysing data, and making recommendations for future activities. As the primary contact between the central International Office and the Business School, you will ensure effective communication and updates between both teams. The role also involves extensive external liaison with partners, prospective students and their influencers, international schools, and education representatives. You will be an integral member of the Business School's professional services team, which includes marketing and programme delivery staff, contributing to the successful promotion of the Business School, student recruitment, and enhancing the school's international reputation.
