The International Partnership & Relations (Scholarships & Sponsors) team are responsible for all aspects of the University's relationship with international funders, as well as designing and managing the University's own International scholarship programmes.

The role of Deputy Head of International Partnerships (Scholarships & Sponsors), is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic and forward-thinking team into its next chapter, following a new University strategy and internationalisation and global engagement sub-strategy.

We are a results-driven team with high standards, but we support each other and also like to have some fun along the way.

Due to operational requirements, we are ideally seeking a candidate who can start as quickly as possible.

What will you be doing?

You will act as the University's expert voice on scholarships and sponsors.

Working collaboratively with academic and professional colleagues across the University and global sponsor and scholarship organisations, you will be responsible for the strategic development and overall management of the University of Bristol's International scholarship programmes and the University's engagement plan with sponsor and scholarship bodies.

The successful applicant will be a positive and decisive leader for the team, who can provide a clear vision and is able to simplify the complex.

We are looking for someone with the ability to manage conflicting priorities, who has excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels.

Experience of working in a Higher Education Institution and knowledge of sponsors and scholarships is essential.
