Source catering is the University of Bristol's award-winning catering brand and are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to take the role of Catering Assistant at the University. The role will be working in one of our catering outlets which include 5 catered halls of residence, events & conference spaces, 9 cafes, 3 bars and a food court and will suit someone who has experience in the industry or can demonstrate hospitable and hard working qualities. This is an amazing opportunity that provides work-life balance, training & development, working alongside a large and supportive team and involvement in exciting food & drink projects. Our Catering Assistants are the friendly faces serving our students, other university staff and visitors and delivering great customer service. Our food is award-winning, our terms are fantastic and the team is good to be part of. We like to think it's all the best bits of the catering and hospitality industry with less of the bad bits. The contract is 35 hours a week (term time only) with paid overtime, generous annual leave as well as extra paid days off for university closure days.What will you be doing? The successful candidate will be preparing and serving food and drink in one or many of our outlets whilst delivering great customer service. We will train you in all areas of service as required including barista training, bar training, event service and generally looking after our students as part of a team.
