Full Job Description
The Accounting Team Leader sits within the Strategic Finance team, and manages a team of Assistant Accountants supporting all the Professional Services divisions.What will you be doing? This is an exciting opportunity to work along side with the Head of Finance. The Team Leader will set the culture of the team and apply Continuous Improvement techniques to improve process efficiency and customer experience. You will take a lead on advising on appropriate accounting treatments and actions in relation to divisional budgets and expenditure, and supporting the team.
- You are experienced in month end accounting procedures, such as accruals and prepayments
- You have an ability to analyse data, make judgements and decisions, and ensure the correct accounting treatment
- You have experience of leading a team, or want to take a first step in line management
- You can demonstrate excellent customer service skills
