Source catering is the University of Bristol's award-winning catering brand and are looking for someone experienced in logistics or delivery driving with natural hospitality to take the role of Catering Logistics Assistant & Driver at the university. The role will work with our catering managers, supervisors, chefs and support team across our 4 catered halls of residence, 9 cafes, 3 bars, food court, pop-ups and various events ensuring all outlets are stocked and set up sufficiently to provide the best possible service to our students, staff and visitors. It will suit someone who has experience with logistics or stockkeeping as well as experience in the hospitality or catering industries and can manage their own workloads., You will help keep our vehicles and equipment in good condition, keeping inventory of all catering assets as well as stock. Managing stores and catering outlets, whether mobile or fixed. You will deliver food and drink from one location to another and supporting the set up and running of events or pop-ups.

This is a key role and you will always be on the go, keeping track of our equipment, stock, events and acting as a key go-to person for the team in supporting with the delivery and management of these. This role requires a driving licence with 2 years on it and a good degree of physical fitness as you will be required to lift and load potentially heavy items.,

  • Hospitality experience
  • Logistics, delivery and/or stockkeeping experience
  • Experience of working within a diverse team
  • Have a clean driving licence with 2 years (due to University insurance policies)
  • High organisational skills and the ability to adapt to the needs of the business
