Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and effective administrator to support the Project Manager and Principal Investigator for the ESPRC-funded "TORUS" Programme Grant. This research programme aims to revolutionise the measurement of Parkinson's disease treatment effectiveness, using novel sensing technologies and advanced data analysis. The project is a collaboration between the University of Bristol and Newcastle University, involving Engineering, Computer Science, and Health Science, with partnerships including the NHS and pharmaceutical companies.What will you be doing?

  • Provide general administrative support to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
  • Assist with financial tasks, including budget management, expense processing, purchasing and reconciliation.
  • Schedule meetings, providing support as required including minuting and following up actions.
  • Provide operational support for the project, including space management and onboarding.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including members of the public.
  • Support the maintenance of websites, SharePoint Sites, Twitter accounts, and e-newsletters.
  • Design, prepare and appropriately store various documents, including project reporting, internal and external communications and publicity materials.
