Full Job Description

Campus Innovation is looking to recruit a full time administrator who will work primarily for the Campus Health, Safety and Quality Assurance (HSQA) Team, and who will support with monitoring and completion of statutory compliance activities, and provide administrative and operational support to the team. The post holder will take direction from the Head of Campus Health, Safety and Quality Assurance and assist in maintaining a high level of service delivery to Campus Division staff. This role sits within the central administration team and reports to the Campus Administration Manager and could be required to help support other teams within Campus Division.What will you be doing? Assisting the HSQA team in the day-to-day smooth running of Health and Safety related activities and services, including:

  • Carrying out reporting and analysis of statistics and data, manipulating data using spreadsheets to create reports.
  • Receiving and responding to queries from customers, colleagues and contractors
  • Complex diary management, organising meetings and workshops, booking travel, catering and training
  • Building relationships and having an active involvement in the H&S communications plan
  • Supporting and shadowing on H&S activities
  • Managing the workloads, workflows and rhythms of the post, balancing the peaks and troughs and providing additional support as required

    You will bring extensive administrative experience and possess excellent organisational and IT skills, an eye for detail and accuracy and an ability to respond flexibly to changing priorities on short timescales. A positive and cheerful can-do attitude, with self-confidence and initiative are essential, as is a flexible and agile approach to the requirements of the HSQA Team. You will be a team player who is experienced at managing and prioritising a wide range of tasks with conflicting deadlines and be able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
