Full Job Description

Working in the Stores you will be responsible for taking delivery of products delivered to site, receipting all goods delivered onto the e-Procurement system, delivering stock to wards using roll cages & other moving equipment.

other duties include stocking clinical andnon-clinical areas with products delivered, maintaining stock rotation to minimise wastage.

also scanning to reorder stock against agreed stock levels.

You will work within clearly defined procedures using your own initiative on routine matters and refer to the Supply Chain Operative when necessary.

You will work to ensure an efficient and effective customer focusedservice is provided for all staff across the site ensuring they can deliverexcellent patient care

The three Partner Trusts have set an objective of creating a singleprocurement function which will help support the sustainable provisionof clinical and non-clinical services.

A newly formed Humber & North Yorkshire Procurement Collaborative, hosted by Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, will provide procurement and supply chain services to its Partner Trusts, and may extend over time to service other bodies within the Integrated Care System.

Working as a Supply Chain Assistant based at Scarborough General Hospital you will contribute to the cleanliness, security and safety of equipment and stock throughout the Trust., The Humber Health Partnership is one of the largest acute and community Partnership arrangements in the NHS, seeing well over one million patients every year and managing a budget of over £1.3 billion.
