Full Job Description

To deliver transformed product availability and inventory optimisation outcomes through world class supply chain management in our distribution network. Developing and implementing strategies to improve the overall efficiency of the supply chain and for managing relationships with vendors. Be a successful mentor and coach to a valuable team of Supply Analysts to achieve inventory targets, while initiating, leading and delivering continuous improvement initiatives.,

  • Deliver product availability and fulfilment targets to support the supply of Branded medicines through contractual wholesale, seasonal and different customer channels through rigorous supply planning practice and process.
  • Lead the supply chain relationship with Branded manufacturers in your portfolio, ensuring delivery of contracted KPI's whilst attending regular contracted meetings to collaborate.
  • Deliver inventory goals by reducing excess stock and dated stock write off's
  • Demonstrate the ability to use relationships to engage, influence and impact stakeholders to drive improvements
  • Ensure you and your team are aware of, adhere to, and remain compliant with Good Distributions Practices

    2-3 years' experience in improving product availability and optimising inventory
  • Experience in leading supply teams and delivering improved product availability and inventory outcomes in a retail / wholesale environment
  • High degree of customer focus and commercial acumen
  • Owner mindset; experience of initiating and implementing process, system and people change in a complex cross functional business setting
  • A strong leader with excellent negotiation skills across all levels of the organisation
  • Desirable
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS)
  • Good understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industry, preferably within Wholesale
  • Previous experience with ERP systems and inventory control systems
  • Relex forecast and replenishment system experience
  • Project management experience
