Full Job Description

Our People Operations Manager is responsible for the delivery of positive and constructive Employee Relations activity, all transactional (administrative) people services and central people activity such as policy management and updates, engagement survey administration, reporting and analytics. You'll help lead our culture, playing an important part in delivering a best-in-class people experience.

What you'll do here:

  • Create the policies, processes and procedures to support all people activity.

  • Manages ER cases to resolution, providing sound advice, guidance and judgement to line managements to ensure outcomes are fair and justifiable.

  • Creates and delivers a quick and efficient administrative service such as response to general people related queries, references, welcome packs and contracts.

  • Manages cyclical processes including bonus and pay review ensuring accuracy.

  • Oversees a best-in-class life cycle from effective onboarding to offboarding.

  • Supports the creation and implementation of the D&I strategy to promote an inclusive culture.

  • Leads on the implementation and is the custodian of the people system (HRIS) ensuring system is fit for purpose and meets business needs.

    Significant experience in a people operations/ employee relations role

  • Proven people leadership experience within hospitality/FMCG is preferred but not necessary (multi-site preferred)

  • Experience of developing and implementing people strategies

  • Track record in managing employee relations

  • Experience in implementing DEI programs

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent is desirable

  • HR certification would be highly desirable (CIPD and Development)

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law and regulatory changes
