You'll support all aspects of creating and launching our brand in Ireland and take control of our existing and future sites in Belfast. If you're a senior multisite operator / director for a QSR brand in Ireland, with brilliant people leadership skills, a drive for results, experience opening new stores and a competitive nature to make Popeyes the most loved QSR brand in Ireland then read on... This role will lead all our operations in ROI and NI, therefore, must be based in or around the Dublin area and able to travel to all current and future locations, along with coming to London/other UK locations as required. We're looking for someone that can take the strategic lead on our new market entry into Dublin, whilst being able to be hands on in the beginning, and ensure all components of landing in ROI are managed. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee and manage all restaurant operations in Ireland (ROI and NI), ensuring the highest standards of quality, customer service, and operational efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain company policies, procedures, and standards across all locations.
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations, food safety, and labour laws.
  • Stakeholder and Project Management:
  • Be the lead in Ireland for all HQ support, working with the centres of excellence to source support, land and grow the business in ROI and NI, as needed.
  • Supports property team to identify and review sites and locations.
  • Able to project manage, set up and launch of the brand, new openings and any other projects, having extensive knowledge of local legislations, nuances or other considerations.
  • Performance Management:
  • Drive KPI performance, including sales, cost control, profit, customer and people.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Analyse operational reports to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Recruit, succession plan and develop a high-performing team to deliver our aim of being the most loved QSR brand and enable our growth plans.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure all teams are motivated, engaged, and aligned with company goals and values.
  • Guest Experience:
  • Ensure your team can deliver excellent service and food quality, every day, to every guest.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design, drive and execute local promotions and initiatives that drive foot traffic and brand awareness.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for growth and new store openings.
  • Support the rollout of new menu items, promotions, and operational initiatives.
  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, including staffing, inventory, and overhead costs.
  • Ensure financial targets are met, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or service.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

    Extensive experience in restaurant operations, at a senior, multisite level, preferably in QSR or fast-casual dining.
  • Strong project management experience, able to help set up and grow the brand, particularly in Dublin.
  • Proven track record of leading multi-unit operations and achieving operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent financial skills and commercial mindset, including budget management, cost control, and profit driving.
  • In-depth knowledge of the restaurant industry, food safety regulations, and operational best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and partners.
