Full Job Description
- Lead supplier quality audits using AWE's Quality requirements for suppliers as the standard.
- Lead and support development of initiatives aligned with the audit strategy.
- Gain agreement to audit findings and follow-up of audit issues and actions in collaboration with stakeholders.
- You will deliver assigned supplier audits within the agreed Programme to time and quality.
- Lead and support the implementation of internal and external best practice, including identifying and developing improvements to the end-to-end audit process.
- Participate in the development of other team members through coaching and mentoring.
Lead Auditor Certification in nationally recognised auditing standards and procedures, ideally ISO 9001:2015. - Relevant degree or equivalent qualification (or working towards) and/or experience.
- Strong manufacturing or process related background with good auditing skills.
- Provide technical advice on standards and acceptance criteria appropriate to scopes of supplier quality work.
- Maintain, review and report non-conformance, analyse data, share trends and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and share best practice.
- Work proactively with suppliers, building strong partnerships and support supplier development
- Worked with other assurance providers to support delivery of corporate objectives.
