Full Job Description

The Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust has embarked on the challenging and exciting task of implementing a new inventory system aiming to have better practices and visibility of stock control, reducing costs, and increasing patient safety through the Scan4Safety initiative.
We are looking for a pro-active, organised, self-motivated and ambitious Supply Chain Supervisor to join our Inventory Management Team.
The candidate will have excellent IT skills, experience in IT stock control Systems and Microsoft packages, great communication skills and be able to Manage a team over 4 sites (Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske), St Michaels Hospital, West Cornwall Hospital & St Austell Surgical Hub).
Full clean driving licence required.
This is a full-time post, working 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00).
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the agreed Inventory and Supply Chain management services using Atticus Inventory Management System (IMS) within the Royal Cornwall NHS Trust and for the management, training and welfare of the inventory management team.
The post requires the ability for frequent prolonged periods of concentration with the ability to respond and deal with complex and urgent situations as they arise. The post-holder should be able to work on their own initiative, working independently with minimal supervision.
