Full Job Description

  • Receiving goods: Assisting with unloading deliveries and checking the quantity and quality of items.
  • Storing items: Learning how to properly organise and store products in the warehouse to maximise space and efficiency.
  • Picking and packing orders: Gathering products from storage to fulfill customer or internal orders and preparing them for dispatch.
  • Inventory management: Monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stock counts, and helping maintain accurate records.
  • Loading and shipping: Assisting with packaging and loading goods onto delivery vehicles, ensuring they are properly secured for transport.
  • Health and safety: Learning safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.

    The ideal candidate is motivated, eager to learn, and physically fit for warehouse tasks. They possess strong attention to detail, good teamwork skills, and a positive attitude. Basic problem-solving abilities and a willingness to follow safety protocols are essential for success in this role., Numeracy and Literacy Skills
  • Organisation and efficiency in managing goods.
  • Problem-solving when dealing with inventory issues or delays.
  • Teamwork in collaborating with colleagues in the warehouse and other departments.
  • Manual handling experience (desirable)
