Full Job Description
The post holder will be required to work as part of a team, supporting the provision of a secure, caring and stimulating nursery environment. You will need to understand and work within the guidelines of the Ofsted Statutory Framework for early years and the EYFS. You will need to carry out the duties of a keyperson in their absence, personal care needs of each child and education and development of the child. Support the room team in providing a rich stimulating environment that is sensitive to the childrens cultural and individual needs and promote equality and diversity. To follow policy and procedure of the Nursery and the Hospital trust. There is a need to be flexible, adaptable and available at short notice.
Abacus Nursery provides day-care for children from 3 months to 5 years. The ability to work as part of a team and a commitment to providing high quality childcare is essential.
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable Supply Childcare Practitioners to come and join our team.
Previous experience of working with pre-school children is essential.
